The Team

Multidisciplinary teamworking.

Many vascular disorders are complex, and there may be more than one way of managing a particular condition.  When planning a procedure, we discuss all the treatment options in a multidisciplinary team meeting which includes surgeons, radiologists, neurologists, anaesthetists, cardiologists, vascular technologists and specialist vascular nurses.  This ensures that that all perspectives are considered before recommending a course of action to a patient.

All our consultants are highly experienced experts in their fields.  They all hold academic posts in Imperial College Faculty of Medicine as Honorary or full-time Clinical Senior Lecturers and are active in research.  They have published numerous scientific papers, book chapters and books.  They are all dedicated teachers and trainers within the medical school and in post-graduate training programmes, and teach and lecture widely.
